Sunway University Student Nabs 3 Gold Medals in 18th Annual KBC International Inter-School Regatta

Sunway University extends its warmest congratulations to our international student, Farid Muhammad Arif (Diploma in Hotel Management), for his outstanding performance at the 18th Annual KBC International Inter-School Regatta.

Representing the University in Karachi, Pakistan, from 26 January to 1 February 2026, Farid demonstrated exceptional athletic prowess in the U25 category. He successfully swept the competition, bringing home three gold medals in the following events:

• 2000m indoor Rowing
• Single Scull (Outdoor)
• Double Scull (Outdoor)

Farid’s dedication, perseverance, and sporting excellence serve as a tremendous inspiration to the entire Sunwayian community. We are incredibly proud to see him shining on the international stage and wish him continued success in his future sporting and academic endeavours.
