Sunway University Ascends to #55 in QS Asia University Rankings 2026, Advancing Excellence and Prestige in the Region

Sunway University continues its remarkable rise in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, advancing 19 places to #55 among 1,526 institutions across the region — reaffirming its standing as one of Asia’s fastest-rising education-focused, research-intensive, and impact-focused universities.

Sunway University rose recorded notable progress across multiple indicators of excellence, including International Student Ratio, International Faculty Ratio, Employer Reputation, International Research Network, Inbound Exchange Students, Citations per Paper, Academic Reputation, and Faculty-Student Ratio.

These achievements underscore Sunway’s expanding international reputation and networks, agile and dynamic research ecosystem, and the strong confidence placed in its graduates by both employers and academic peers.
