MoU Signing Ceremony with Embedded LLM

We are pleased to announce that Sunway University and Embedded LLM PTE LTD recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in academic and research areas.

Embedded LLM is a Singapore-based deep-tech company focuses on building high-performance software infrastructure for the global AI ecosystem. The company is widely known as a core contributor and maintainer of vLLM, a popular open-source Large Language Model (LLM) inference engine.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at Sunway University. Prof. Sibrand Poppema, President of Sunway University attended on behalf of Sunway University and was witnessed by Prof. Abhi Veerakumarasivam, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost. Representing Embedded LLM, CEO Mr. Ghee Leng Ooi was present, with Mr. Muhammad Usman, Head of Ai and Partnership as witness.

This collaboration between the university and industry will strengthen academic and cultural exchange, facilitate the sharing of academic materials and information, and carry out joint research projects and grant initiatives.

We would also like to express our special thanks to Prof. Anwar P. P. Abdul Majeed, Head of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for facilitating the signing of MoU with Embedded LLM PTE LTD.
