Sunway CPA Student Charter Explore Taxation and Governance with the IRB

The Sunway CPA Student Charter (SCSC) organised an educational visit to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on 11 November 2025. During the visit, students received an insightful briefing on the IRB’s core functions and its vital role within Malaysia’s economic ecosystem.

The session also featured engaging quizzes, where winners walked away with thoughtful goodie bags prepared by the department. Students were then treated to a delightful lunch, providing additional opportunities for interaction and meaningful conversations with IRB officers.

Overall, the visit proved to be an enriching and eye-opening experience, deepening students’ understanding of taxation, public administration, and the importance of effective governance.
