Sunway Among Top 1% Leading Employer In Malaysia In Talentbank Graduates’ Choice Awards 2024
Source by Business Today
Sunway has once again proven its standing as a leading employer in Malaysia by securing 11 prestigious awards at the Talentbank Graduates’ Choice Awards 2024. The awards spanned diverse industries and were a result of votes from nearly half a million university students nationwide.
In an impressive display of organizational excellence, Sunway was named among the “Top 1% Winners,” solidifying its position alongside other global brands highly favored by Malaysian graduates. The conglomerate achieved Champion status in crucial categories such as Construction, Entertainment & Leisure, Facilities Management, Private Higher Education Institution, and Property Developer.
Additionally, Sunway secured First Runner-up positions in Shopping Mall and Healthcare, with Second Runner-up honors in Hotel and Convention Centre categories. The company also earned recognition in the prestigious Top 1% Winners and 5 Consecutive Years Winners categories.
These accolades underscore Sunway’s commitment to workplace inclusiveness, diversity, and meritocracy.
Sunway Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Foo Shiang Wyne, expressed gratitude for the dedication, commitment, and hard work of the Sunway team that has propelled the conglomerate to this momentous achievement.
Sunway, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, has made substantial strides in creating an organizational culture that prioritizes personal growth, career development, and work-life balance.
Last year, the conglomerate clinched three awards at the HR Excellence Awards 2023, including the prestigious “Employer of the Year.” Sunway was lauded not only for its progressive development strategies but also for fostering a work environment that supports volunteerism and prioritises community engagement.
At the Talentbank Graduate Choice Awards 2023, Sunway showcased its dominance by securing top positions across nine industry categories and earning a spot among the Top 25 overall winners in the Most Preferred Graduate Employers to Work for.
Established in 2011, Talentbank has played a crucial role in providing a platform for candidates to choose suitable employers. The awards are a result of 460,000 votes cast by students and graduates from Malaysian public and private universities. The results were independently verified by a panel of audit members.
Sunway’s recognition as a top employer reaffirms its commitment to fostering a positive and rewarding workplace, making it an ideal choice for aspiring graduates entering the professional realm.
