Eleanor McEvoy Delivers Masterclass at Sunway University

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, Sunway University had the distinct honour of welcoming the renowned Irish singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy to our campus. We proudly hosted a very special masterclass tailored for our students in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, which culminated in a spectacular live concert.

With a formidable presence in the music scene spanning decades, Eleanor has released 16 albums, including the best-selling Irish album of all time, A Woman’s Heart. Celebrated globally for her deeply immersive performances, her visit to Sunway also featured a campus exhibition and a beautiful pre-concert banquet hosted by the Embassy of Ireland.

Her remarkable musicianship—moving seamlessly between the violin, guitar, and piano—made the performance a truly unforgettable experience for our entire campus.
