Safer Streets, Stronger Community

In collaboration with the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) the “Together Against Crime” campaign was launched at Sunway University by Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Selangor Police Chief Dato Shazeli bin Dato’ Kahar, and our founder and chairman Tan Sri Sir Dr. Jeffrey Cheah KBE AO, who also serves as chairman of the MCPF Selangor chapter.

The initiative, aimed at strengthening crime prevention awareness among students and the wider community in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, gathered members of the public alongside key enforcement agencies, the Polis Diraja Malaysia ( Royal Malaysia Police ), the Malaysia Civil Defence Force and the National Anti-Drugs Agency. It underscored collaborative efforts within the community to curb crime and encouraged civic responsibility, particularly among the youth.

With over 60,000 students across Sunway University, Monash University Malaysia and Taylor's University in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, the campaign reinforces the potential of educational institutions to work together in building a safer and more cohesive community.
