International Admission
Read the Requirements
All international students that wish to apply should read the requirements for enrolment before submission. Please email us at leesec@sunway.edu.my first to confirm your eligibility before applying.
We advise that all application documents and initial payment are sent to us three (3) months before the intake date.
1. Required Documents for Application
- Completed Application Form
- Digital copy of Passport-sized photograph (jpeg file, WHITE background, size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
- Colour scan copy of passport (all pages including cover page, blank pages). Kindly make sure that the page number on the passport are clearly visible. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 18 months (or 30 months for Indonesian Passport Holders) from intake date
- Certified true copies of academic qualifications (together with English Translation where applicable)
- English Language qualifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, MUET, etc to evaluate English Language Proficiency (for Diploma/ Bachelor programmes)
- Completed Health Declaration Form
- Completed Off-Campus Accomodation Application Form (If required)
- A copy of Yellow vaccination booklet/card (for applicants from countries which are considered to be at a high risk of yellow fever)
- No Objection Letter (NOL) (for applicants from Omani)
- Letter of Eligibility (LOE) (for Libyan applicants)
- Verification Report of the Academic Certificates in English Language (for applicants from China)
2. Payment
Once your eligibility is confirmed, you may proceed with the following payments.
- Enrolment Fee of RM350 (non-refundable)
- Deposit of RM1,200 (refundable)
- EMGS Fee of RM3,100 (non-refundable) for new Student Pass/Visa processing fee (RM4,200 for applicants from Indonesia - for programme study duration of two (2) years and above)
- International Admin Fee of RM2,500
*All fees are subjected to an additional 6% Sales and Service Tax (SST), except for deposit.
3. Offer Letter Issuance
Successful applicants will receive offer letter via email.
4. Visa Application
- We will apply for your Student Pass upon receiving the signed Acceptance of Offer, and all required documents and payments. It is required that the applicant is outside Malaysia while the student visa is processed and Visit visa at the same time could result in rejection of your Student Pass application.
- EMGS and the College may request additional documents if necessary. Any delay in providing the requested documents will likely affect your student visa approval timeline.
5. Visa Approval Letter
- A Visa Approval Letter (VAL) will be issued once the Student Pass is approved.
- IO will inform you with the latest Pre-Travel Preparation Checklist for your further action.
