Diploma in Interior Design

Designed with an emphasis on providing sound practical knowledge and skills needed for entry into the industry. It focuses on a group of various related projects which involve turning an interior space into an “effective setting for the range of human activities”.

Students are nurtured in their own individual skills through 2-D/ 3-D drawing, 3-D modelling, design concepts, space planning, photography and architectural drawings. Graduates are able to venture into any design-related fields such as:

Architecture & Interior Design
Large Retail and Service Professions
Furniture Manufacturing
Lighting and Color Specialist
Stage and Exhibition Design
Theatre, Film & Broadcasting

2 years 6 months (7 semesters) inclusive of Practical Training

Assessments
Continuous assessment & final examination

Entry Requirements
Pass SPM/ O-Level with minimum 3 credits
Other equivalent qualifications approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia
Undergo & Pass Portfolio Assessment
