DIPLOMA IN INTERIOR DESIGN     JPT/BPP (K) (A6993) 09/21

This career-orientated programme is designed with an emphasis on providing sound practical knowledge and skills needed for entry into the industry.  It focuses on a group of various related projects which involve turning an interior space into an “effective setting for the range of human activities”.

Students are nurtured in their own individual skills through 2-D/3-D Drawing, 3-D Modelling, Design Concepts, Space Planning and Photo-Shooting.  Graduates are able to venture into any design related fields such as:

Architecture & Interior Design
Large Retail and Service Professions
Furniture Manufacturing
Lighting and Color Specialist
Stage and Exhibition Design
Theatre, Film & Broadcasting

Academic Calendar Intakes
January, March and August

Programme Duration
2½ Years (7 Semesters) inclusive of Practical Training

Entry Requirements
Minimum 3 Credits in SPM or other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

 

 

Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Compulsory General Studies Courses/Matapelajaran Umum (MPU) & Bahasa Kebangsaan Requirements

Malaysian and International Students are required to pass the MQA Compulsory General Studies (MPU) courses.  Additionally, Local Students who do not have SPM qualification or did not obtain a Credit in Bahasa Melayu in SPM, are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A.
