A creative arts of communication, stylizing and problem-solving through the use of type, space and image.  Our programme is all about nurturing our students via theoretical and practical design studies such as Animation, Illustration, Packaging, Photography, Typography, Multimedia and Studio Practice in order for them to appreciate art and design.

Some of the enriching activities that the students will experience are real life projects, field trips to galleries and professional design studios, industry competitions as well as rigorous internship to ensure industry readiness.  Career prospects a student can look forward to will be:

2 years 6 months (7 semesters) inclusive of Practical Training

Assessments
Continuous assessment & Final examination

Entry Requirements
Pass SPM/O Level with minimum 3 credits including a pass in Art (Pendidikan Seni)
Other equivalent qualifications approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia
Pass interview/Drawing test/Portfolio submission for 

those without Art (Pendidikan Seni) or Engineering Drawing (Lukisan Kejuruteraan)


 

MOHE Compulsory General Studies Courses/Matapelajaran Umum (MPU) & Bahasa Kebangsaan Requirements

Malaysian and International Students are required to pass the MOHE Compulsory General Studies courses.  Additionally, Local Students who do not have SPM qualification or did not obtain a credit in Bahasa Melayu in SPM, are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A.
