HEAD - HOSPITALITY AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMMES
 
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the academic planning and management of the Hospitality and Information Technology Programmes which includes coordinating student enrolment and affairs, student industrial placement and training, teaching staff recruitment and management, programme enhancement and promoting linkage with the community and industry.
 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in the general field of Hospitality. Preference will be given to Masters’ holders

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience

  • Supervisory experience in the higher education industry is preferred

  • Industrial experience in a related field will be an added advantage

  • Must be a self-driven and result-oriented person with strong commitment towards academic excellence

  • Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

 
  
 
LECTURER - EVENTS MANAGEMENT
 
Responsibilities:
Deliver lectures professionally and effectively for designated subject
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Preference will be given to Master's degree holders

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience

  • IT literate with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Possess a passion for teaching and are able to work as a team

  • Patient and caring towards young adults

EXECUTIVE - LIBRARY
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for students to facilitate their learning process

  • Plan, organise and deliver a range of workshops, seminars and other activities to support students’ learning at college level

  • Coordinate and collaborate with lecturers to promote and improve academic literacy and English learning among students

  • Provide regular consultation for students who need assistance with college learning, computing skills and general study skills

Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master degree in English Language, Education, Management or any relevant discipline

  • Experience in teaching, preferably at tertiary level would be an advantage

  • Computer and information literacy

  • Cheerful and friendly disposition, with excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Enthusiastic and motivated

  • Willing to work shifts and on Saturdays

 
 
 
 
EXECUTIVE - HUMAN RESOURCES
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in daily HR operational matters and provide relevant HR support services to staff members

  • Coordinate training programmes and recruitment exercises

  • Assist in the planning and organising of staff activities

  • Maintain and update of HR records, procedures and databases

Requirements:
  • Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or any other related discipline

  • Preferably with 1 - 2 years of working experience in Human Resources administration

  • Pleasant personality and able to interact with people at all levels

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Positive work attitude and able to work independently in a team environment

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

 
 
 
 
OFFICER / EXECUTIVE – IT SERVICES
 
Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining IT facilities within the college and perform administrative functions for the IT Services department

  • Provide helpdesk and technical support to end users

  • Managing and maintaining the hardware and software in the computer labs

  • Desktop PC, printer and IT equipment support, upgrade and maintenance

  • Servers and system administration and support

 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in related field

  • Preferably 1 year of related working experience

  • Good knowledge and strong skills in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of network, hardware and software

  • A self-starter with qualities of a team player and yet able to work independently

  • Possess high sense of responsibility and integrity

  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment including projector would be a plus
