Below are the procedures that the Student/Staff have to follow when entering the library :
- Users are required to treat the library environment with respect and the library staff with respect and courtesy. All incidents will be reported to the appropriate authority.
- Silence should be observed at all designated area.
- Smoking, eating, drinking and the use of mobile phones are strictly not permitted in the Library.
- Users should not enter or remain in the Library during those times when the Library is not open.
- Bags, umbrellas, etc. are not to be brought into the Library. They should keep in the baggage area at the library entrance.
- Cameras and other recording equipment must not be used in the Library without the permission of the Librarian.
- Neither the Library nor the College Authorities accept responsibility for the loss of any personal property left in the Library.
- Lost or damaged material should be reported at once to the Library concerned and the User will be asked to refund to the College either the replacement, lost or repair cost as appropriate.
- Appropriate action will be taken against any Library User caught or found attempting to deface or vandalize any material belonging to the College.
- The Library reserves the right to amend the Sunway College Ipoh Library Rules & Regulations without prior notice.
