The Sunway-Oxbridge Essay Competition Northern Regional Finals was held on 6 September 2014 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm with Sunway College Ipoh as the host venue. A total of 13 finalists were divided into 2 categories, i.e. Category A (Form 1 - 3) and Category B (Form 4 - 5).

A total of 7 Student Groups were involved in the a presentation of the Community Learning Service (CSL) Project recently on 24 June 2014. It is part of their course structure under the MQA's Matapelajaran Umum (MPU). The Panel of Judges comprised of representatives from Hope Worldwide Singapore, Soroptimist International Ipoh, Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) and Sunway College Ipoh.
An Official Launching event was held on 23 June 2014, Multi-Purpose Hall, Sunway College Ipoh. Organised by the 'Marketing In Practice' Sales & Marketing Project Team, it was attended by both Staffs and Students, eagerly awaiting the unveiling and taking proud ownership of the item later.

On 12 June 2014, the 4th Form and 5th Form visiting students were held to a presentation by the Course Coordinators, following Student Council's Ice-Breaking activity. The Guests were treated to Lunch following a Group Photo session. According to a Senior Teacher, a Leisure & Educational trip is planned every year in the School Term Holidays where every Student involved has to submit a report.
Sunway College Ipoh has participated in the Sunway City Ipoh Green Flea Market on 14 June 2014 from 8.00 am onwards at the Sunway Extreme Park, Ipoh. Booths - Sunway College Ipoh's Booth No. 18 & 19 - were open to the Public and were definitely of particular interest to the those looking for bargain items up for sale.
A Career Talk facilitated by KPerak was organised to Sunway College Ipoh students on 13 June 2014 (Friday) at 10.30 am, Multi-Purpose Hall. The Talk entitled "Are You Ready To Get Hired" was presented by a Career Consultant from Jobstreet.com, the No. 1 Job Portal in Malaysia, covered the current Job Market Scenario and provided guidance on Resume Writing and Attending Interviews.
The Perak Society of Performing Arts (PSPA) had invited all youths to participate in the Junior Associate Conference (JAC) 2014. The conference-workshop, on 9 & 10 June 2014 in Sunway College Ipoh, is a community-based talent development project seeking to promote arts and cultivate talents to realise their potential. Various professionals had shared their experiences, knowledge, skills and advice to inspire talents to move forward.
A Charity Car Wash was organised by the Student Council of Sunway College Ipoh on 20 June 2014 (Friday) from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm near the vicinity of the Campus.
Sunway Education Group (SEG) Open Day 2014

An All-Expenses Paid Return Trip to the Sunway Education Group (SEG) Open Day, Sunway University, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Selangor will be held on 29 June 2014 (Sunday). This one-day event is exclusive to Diploma and Pre-University students, where a Briefing, Campus Tour and Academic Talk are organised so as to gain better insights on University Campus Life for their further Undergraduate Degree studies in the future.
In celebration of Sunway College Ipoh's 10th Anniversary, a Futsal Tournament was organised on 24 (Saturday) & 25 (Sunday) May 2014 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm at Sunway Extreme Park, Ipoh. A total of 32 teams participated. The Top 3 Teams were awarded with a Champions Trophy, Cash Prizes, Medals & Certificates. Entry/Participation Fee of RM80.00 per team (max. of 8 Players) were charged. Food Booth was opened throughout the event.
A Blood Donation Campaign was held on 8 May 2014 from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm at the Discussion Room, Learning Resource Centre, Sunway College Ipoh, organised by Sunway College Ipoh in cooperation with Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB), Ipoh. The turnout was encouraging with Staffs and Students doing their part for society, including first-time donors. Their effort were well received and appreciated by the HRPB Staffs-In-Attendance.
