The MOE as requested by Private Institutions of Higher Learning is undertaking an update study on graduate job status through its SKPG I-Kemaskini system.  The target group are all 2013 and previous years graduates who have participated in the Graduate Tracer Study (SKPG I).  For 2014 graduates, they are able to update their job status after 30 days of participating in the SKPG I.

The Open Day will be held on 13 & 14 (Saturday & Sunday) December 2014 with a Start Your Future With RM100  (Terms & Conditions apply) Promotion valid from 13 to 31 December 2014.  Visit our Campus and talk to our friendly Counsellors for your future higher education needs.  We are open on Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and on Saturdays and selected Sundays (December 2014), 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The Sunway-Oxbridge Essay Competition 2014 Northern Regional Finals will be held at Sunway College Ipoh on 6 September 2014, 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.  The competition which had run from 6 July to 8 August 2014 with the theme on smoking with inspirations from the World No Tobacco Day, is divided into 2 categories; A (Form 1 - 3) and B (Form 4 - 5).

In honour of our Nation's 57th Merdeka Day, the Management, Staff and Students of Sunway College Ipoh feel proud to fly the Jalur Gemilang as we value our independence, cherish our freedom and celebrate our nationality as 1Malaysia.

In honour and remembrance of all who perished on board Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, Sunway College Ipoh as part of Sunway Education Group initiative, we shall acknowledge and observe 22 August 2014 as the National Day of Mourning.  Our thoughts and prayers remain with the families of the Crew and Passengers.

We are pleased that the Senior Executive Director of Sunway Education Group was conferred an honorary award, the Degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, by a world renowned university, the University of Nottingham, UK.  This award is a recognition of her outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of education.  Her distinguished service to higher education, in particular, through the Sunway Education Group, is highly valued and something we can all be proud of. 

Professor Colyn Gardner, Dean of Sunway University Business School was appointed as a Member of the Financial Services Talent Council by Bank Negara Malaysia.  The Council, comprising of prominent individuals, will serve as a Think Tank to deliberate and recommend strategic direction for the Financial Sector Talent Agenda to meet talent needs for higher standards of quality, professionalism and ethics in the financial sector.
