| Sunway University Leaped to #280 in 2021 as the World's Most Sustainable University |
Sunway University has improved its ranking in the 2021 UI GreenMetric (UIGM) World University Rankings after it leaped 193 places to #280 position out of 956 universities worldwide.
This ranking was a tremendous improvement over the previous year when the university was at #473.
The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an initiative of Universitas Indonesia based on the green campus sustainability and environmental management efforts through six main criteria, namely setting and infrastructure; energy and climate change; waste; water; transportation and education... › |

On her first visit to Sunway University on November 8th, Dr. Ponevacs-Pana Petra, Ambassador of Hungary to Malaysia and her colleagues met with the Prof. Graeme Wilkinson, Vice Chancellor and Prof Stephen Hall, Head of Centre of English Language Studies and Jeffrey Sachs Centre colleagues.
The discussion was centred on shared interest in sustainability education and developing links between Hungarian Universities and Sunway University.
