Sunway Academic Symposium 2010

The 3rd Sunway Academic Symposium on “The Influence of Sociocultural Pressures on Thought Processes” this year aims to provide an excellent opportunity to share and exchange ideas in research studies in the areas of cognition, developmental psychology, health/ forensic issues, human resources, and social and cultural issues. Academics, health care professionals, school teachers, counsellors, parents, students who are pursuing tertiary education in psychology or anyone interested in psychology should attend this academic symposium.

The symposium will be held at the auditorium at Sunway University, on Saturday 25th September 2010 and is hosted by the Department of Psychology, School of Health and Natural Sciences, Sunway University.

Objectives

The objectives of the symposium are:

  • To stimulate exchange of ideas and knowledge among students and academics from various setting in the field of psychology.
  • To generate new ideas and approaches in conducting research studies.
