Sunway Sports Scholarship

Awarded to students with outstanding sports achievement at the state and national level

Eligibility Criteria

• Sports affiliated with Olympic Council Malaysia.
• Awarded to full-time students of Sunway University who are State or National athletes (2 years prior to joining Sunway University-year 2009).
• The Sports Scholarship is open to Malaysians only.
• Verification by State or National Sports Association.
• The final decision to grant the scholarship is at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Selection Panel of Sunway University.

Value of Scholarship

• 25% discount in tuition fee for State Athletes
• 50% discount in tuition fee for National Athletes

Terms & Conditions

• Qualified candidates MUST represent University in MAPCU games or any other tournaments as and when required by the University Management
• Sports Scholarship athletes must maintain good grades
• Athletes are required to maintain their sports achievement at state or national level
• Athletes are required to contribute at least 15 hours per year on conducting sports training and workshop.
• The Sports Scholarship is reviewed on a yearly basis. Scholarships can be revoked based on the discretion of the University

Application Deadlines

2 weeks after the commencement date of programme or 2 weeks after the release of actual results.
