Sunway University has set aside 15 community scholarships per year for ‘budding potentials’ from the age of 18 – 25, recommended from children welfare homes, NGOs or poor communities.

Participating Programmes

These scholarships are offered to those interested in pursuing their education in the following areas of study:

• Diploma in Business Administration
• Diploma in Tourism Management
• Diploma in Information Technology
• Diploma in Graphic & Multimedia Design
• Diploma in Interior Design
• Diploma in Hotel Management
• Diploma in Events Management

Eligibility Criteria

• Malaysian aged 18 to 25 years from residential care homes, community centers or poor and needy community with household income lesser than RM 18,000 per annum.
• SPM/ O-Level/ UEC/ STPM and other equvalent qualification.
• Meet minimum entry requirements of programme applied.

Value of Scholarship

The scholarship covers:

• full tuition fees
• accommodation at our apartment hostel
• book purchases
