PTPTN Study Loan Application Process

The general steps for applying PTPTN study loan are given in the table below.

Steps Process

Briefing and Introductory Talk

Students to gather information from the briefing session conducted by Government and Corporate Liaison.

Online Registration

Students to register online at PTPTN website. (http://www.ptptn.gov.my/)
Deadlines: 15 February / 15 April / 15 August / 15 September

Check Registration Status

Students to check the status of their online registrations 7 working days after the deadline.

Download Application Form and Related Documents

Upon successful online registration, students can download and print the PTPTN Study Loan Application Form and other related documents from the PTPTN official website.

Complete the Application Form and Prepare All Required Documents

Students can now complete the application form and prepare all required documents for submission.

Document Checking by Government and Corporate Liaison

Students are required to submit to Government and Corporate Liasion their completed application forms attaching all the required documents for checking.

Document Checking by Officers from PTPTN

PTPTN Officers will check all application forms (including relevant documents) at the University.  The date when the PTPTN Officers are at the University will normally be made known to students in advance.
