Sunway University College’s ("Sun-U") "MY SUCCESS, MY DREAMS Blog Contest" ("Contest") shall commence from 3 May 2010 Local Malaysian Time and end on 23:59 on 30 June 2010 Local Malaysian Time ("Contest Period"). Any entries received beyond the Contest Period will not be considered. Sun-U reserves the right to extend the Contest Period if it deems necessary and any extension will be communicated on a best effort basis.

The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 15-17 years old as of 31 December 2010. Participants who do not abide by the Contest Procedures will be considered ineligible for the Contest.

1. Eligible Participants are NOT allowed to submit more than one (1) entry.
2. All entries must be written in the English language.
3. To participate, Eligible Participants must complete the following steps:
   1. Firstly, Eligible Participants shall write a 500-800 words essay creatively of their future story of success ("Contest Entry") and upload their Contest Entry to their blog/website as a form of submission. Blog/website entries will need to include the "MY SUCCESS, MY DREAMS Blog Contest" Banner Image as provided on Sun-U's website and also a link to Sun-U’s website http://www.sunway.edu.my/mysuccess and title "My Dream Story of Success".
   2. Secondly, Eligible Participants must upload their Contest Entry to the Sun-U Website at http://www.sunway.edu.my/mysuccess via a link to their blog/website together with their Full Name, NRIC Number, Email Address, and Mobile Telephone Number ("Required Eligible Participant Information").
4. By entering the Contest, and so far as may be consistent with, any applicable laws and, unless caused by the wilful misconduct or gross negligence of Sun-U, its agents, employees or representatives, Eligible Participants shall indemnify and hold harmless Sun-U, its agents, employees or representatives from and against any and all claims, suits, judgements, damages, liabilities and losses, including costs and expenses incidental thereto of any nature whatsoever and regardless how caused, arising out of or attributable to, and shall claim full responsibility for, the uploading of their Contest Entry to the Sun-U website, their entry into this Contest, and the usage of any copyrighted / trademarked content in their Contest Entries.
5. Only Contest Entries correctly uploaded and together with the Required Eligible Participant Information correctly submitted within the Contest Period will be taken into account. This is subject to the extension of the Contest Period as decided by Sun-U at its absolute discretion. Contest Entries uploaded, or Required Eligible Participant Information submitted after the expiry of the Contest Period will be automatically disqualified.
6. The Top 10 shortlisted Contest Entries will be judged by a panel comprising of Sun-U employees ("Judges"). Contest entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and substance. Judges’ decision is final, conclusive and binding and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained.
7. The final Top 3 winners will be determined according to the top-voted Contest entries posted on the Sun-U website from 00:00 12 July 2010 Local Malaysian Time to 23:59 30 July 2010 Local Malaysian Time.
8. All Contest Entries uploaded / submitted must be the work of the individuals submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that any images / video content he or she submits has been taken with the permission of the subject and does not infringe the copyright or trademark of any third party or any laws. Participants warrant that the Contest Entries they upload / submit are their own work and that they own the copyright to it.
9. Copyright of all Contest Entries uploaded / submitted for this competition remains with the respective participants. However, in consideration of their providing the Contest Entries for the Contest, each participant grants a worldwide, irrevocable and perpetual licence to Sun-U to feature any or all of the uploaded submitted Contest Entry contents and images in any of Sun-U’s publications, websites and/or in any promotional materials.

1. The eligibility to win the Contest is on the condition that Eligible Participants fully comply with these Terms & Conditions and/or the Contest Procedures stated herein. Incomplete entries and/or the failure to fulfil all or any of the Terms and Conditions and/or the Contest Procedures will automatically disqualify the Eligible Participants from the Contest without prior notice.
2. The best Contest Entry as shortlisted by the Judges and goes on to receive the most votes will be chosen as the winner. Sun-U reserves the right to change, vary or amend these Terms & Conditions, the Contest Procedures and/or any other matters related thereto at its absolute discretion and without prior notice.
3. The winners will be notified by email of the award ceremony on 2 August 2010 or such other date as decided by Sun-U at its absolute discretion. However, Sun-U reserves the right to delay the timing of the announcement of the winners of the Contest.
4. The winners are fully responsible for any injuries, damages or claims as a result of or arising from their participation in the Contest, usage of their prize and/or collection of their prize. Sun-U accepts no responsibility for lost, misdirected, illegible, late, mutilated or altered entries. Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified without prior notice.

1. The Top 3 prize winners will receive the following:
   1. 1st prize: iPod Touch + RM800 cash prize
   2. 2nd prize: iPod Touch + RM500 cash prize
   3. 3rd prize: iPod Touch + RM300 cash prize
2. The 7 other Shortlisted contestants will receive a RM100 cash prize each.
3. Notwithstanding the above, Sun-U is entitled to replace the prizes with other prizes of similar value at any time without any prior notice.
4. The prizes must be collected on 6 August 2010 at the award presentation ceremony held at Sunway University College.
5. Failure to collect the prizes within the stipulated time period will result in forfeiture of the prizes and the winners will have no claim whatsoever against Sun-U, its agents and employees in the event of forfeiture thereof.
6. The prizes cannot be exchanged with Sun-U for cash.

1. Sun-U is entitled and the winners irrevocably and unconditionally permit Sun-U to use, publish or feature the winner and/or their Contest Entry for publicity and advertising purposes in any of Sun-U’s publications, websites and/or any promotional materials connected to the Contest.
2. Sun-U reserves its sole right and discretion to delete, remove, reject or not consider any content and/or entry and/or content of the Contest Entries that Sun-U determines to be improper or offensive in whatever nature.

1. Sun-U reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension by Sun-U of the Contest shall not entitle the Eligible Participants to any claim or compensation against Sun-U, its agents and employees for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.
2. Sun-U shall not be liable for any disruption to the Contest, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of disruption to the Contest, reasonable efforts shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Contest on a fair and equitable basis to the Eligible Participants.
3. Sun-U, its agents and employees shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential losses) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with or arising from either participation in this Contest or with any of the prizes offered or forfeited.
4. By entering this Contest, it is deemed that the Eligible Participants have read and have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may result in forfeiture of any of the entries or prizes at Sun-U's absolute discretion.
5. Sun-U reserves the right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.
