1. Applicable for the following programmes only:
   • Diploma in Business Administration
   • Diploma in Information Technology
   • Diploma in Hotel Management
   • Diploma in Events Management
   • Diploma in Tourism Management
   • Diploma in Fine Arts
   • Diploma in Graphic & Multimedia Design
   • Diploma in Interior Design
2. This bursary is applicable for new students only.
3. This bursary is offered from the commencement of the programme and will be deducted from the semester tuition fee only.  The bursary does not cover general fees, exam fees, re-sit or repeat of subjects and accommodation fees which must be paid by all bursary recipients where applicable.
4. Students applying based on forecast results will be granted the bursary on a conditional offer that the actual result must meet the minimum entry requirements.  Failing to do so will result in the bursary being revoked.
5. Applicants who had won scholarships or bursaries in any competition organised by Sunway University may combine the amount won with the Sunway University Community Bursary up to the maximum amount of the total tuition fee of the Diploma programme only.
6. Students will have to meet all required entry requirements of the programme enrolled.
7. This bursary is non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash or other alternatives.  It is strictly a tuition-fee waiver.
8. This bursary will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribed study period specified by Sunway University.
9. Sunway University reserves the right to terminate this bursary should the student fail to abide by the rules and regulations stated in the student handbook.
10. In the event that the bursary recipient withdraws from the programme, is suspended or terminated by Sunway University at any point in time, before the completion of the programme, the scholarship shall automatically be terminated.  However, if recipients on the above-mentioned status are due to medical reasons, they may retain their scholarships, subject however to the absolute discretion of Sunway University by providing the supporting medical report from Doctor acceptable to Sunway University.
11. Applicants must be of respectable character and should not have any criminal convictions or records and should not have been involved in any misconduct which may bring Sunway University into disrepute.
12. Sunway University reserves the right to decide on the number of bursaries to be awarded.
13. All bursaries offered by Sunway University to any student are at the absolute discretion of Sunway University Scholarship Committee.
14. Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.  All decisions made by the management of Sunway University on matters not covered above are final and binding.
