This school comprises the Department of Performance+Media, and the Department of Art and Design. All courses offered are on a full-time basis with a duration of 2.5 years.

The Department of Performance+Media offers a Diploma in Performing Arts with the option for students to transfer directly into the 3rd year of a degree programme at the University of Tasmania, Australia (Bachelor in Contemporary Arts) or the University of Lethbridge, Canada (Bachelor of Fine Arts: Dramatic Arts). This acclaimed department has on its teaching staff some of the most prolific regional professionals. From scholars to activists, from actors to directors, they work closely with the students on a rigorous curriculum aimed at building a strong foundation in theatre and video production. A versatile range of material is interpreted, producing polished faculty productions in the past like Equus, The Coffin Is Too Big For The Hole, All In The Timing, Trojan Women, Atomic Jaya and wayang kulit performances.

The Department of Art and Design provides a solid foundation to a design-based career, offering Diploma in Graphic and Multimedia Design, Interior Design, and Fine Art. Students have the option to proceed to a degree through credit transfer into the final year of selected universities in New Zealand, Australia or the UK. The programmes not only equip students with specific technical skills but it incorporates real-world projects and working situations, thus, bringing creative decisions to a professional context. The final year of these programmes require students to partake in practical training and internship.

Gan Soon Bing won again in the Tanjong Heritage 2009 art competition. Last year he won first prize in the watercolour category for his pointillism rendition of a Chinese temple. This year he wins the second prize for his uniquely angled pencil drawing of fishermen in Port Dickson in the charcoal/pencil category. Gan completed his diploma in Graphic and Multimedia Design this year and is now working with an advertising agency. Not bad Gan!

Joanne Ooi Yuen Kei, 19, was ecstatic upon winning first prize in the Malaysia TrustMark Logo Competition 2009 organised by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia (MITI). In the Design & Illustrate : Horse Sculpture Competition organised by the Selangor Turf Club, Sunway University College students vivid painting on a life-size horse sculpture won them the third prize of RM3,000.
