This year’s second Scholarships & Awards Presentation at Sunway University College awarded close to RM2 million in scholarships through the Sunway Education Trust Fund to 285 recipients. Gan Soon Bing won again in the Tanjong Heritage 2009 art competition. Last year he won first prize in the watercolour category for his pointillism rendition of a Chinese temple. In the 6th Asian Winter Games 2007 that took place in Changchun, China which wrapped up early February, we were thrilled to witness the first Malaysian ice hockey team competing on an international level.

The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) hailed students who achieved “Top in the World” and “Top in Malaysia” placings from their June 2008 Cambridge examinations.

The Australian Matriculation (AusMat) pre-University students at Sunway University College who graduated recently, achieved commendable results among all the AusMat providers worldwide in Western Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and Malaysia.
