Accolades For Sunway Art & Design Students

Gan Soon Bing, a student in Graphic & Multimedia Design diploma programme at Sunway won First Prize in the Tanjong Heritage Art Competition 2008 (watercolour category) organised by the Tanjong Public Limited Company. He received a cash prize of RM3,000 for his pointillism (a technique known for its tediousness) painting of a Chinese temple scene.

Gan’s peers from the same Graphic & Multimedia Design programme, won First Prize in the “My Life My Way Video Competition” organised by Media One Asia. They team comprised Syed Fernash, Leong Choon Yew, Sam William Wotherspoon, Yap Kim Sung, Chow Chee Kai and Kevin Wong Hoong Fei.
