Esther transfers to Ivy League institution
A proud occasion for Sunway’s American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP) this year was when Esther Lim Wei Yee recently transferred to Cornell University, ranked 12 in the US according to U.S News 2008 edition. Esther is studying Biological Engineering after completing the required credits.

13 students from the ADTP were given Presidential Scholarships by Western Michigan University in June 2008. The value of the scholarship is USD8,000 per annum. Most of the scholars are pursuing disciplines in engineering. Congratulations to R.S Vewen, Sim Chee Chuan, Chiu Wei Jian, Ee Mee Ting, Kong Ling Kit, Mark Nathaniel Barki (Indonesia), Kishaan Kumar Ganesh, Njoku Ugochukwu (Nigeria), Ryan Adidharma Amaram (Indonesia), Mohamad Belqaizi, Amin Nor Hafidz, Lai Ying Jiun and Paul Ngu.
