Yenni and Hon Shuen Stand Out from Dean’s List
Among the students who have made an indelible mark in the ADTP at Sunway University College recently are Hon Shuen and Yenni Chen. Both had a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 4.0 Honor Points. Hon, who was taking the prerequisites in Biomedical Sciences completed his sophomore year in Sunway in December 2006 transferred to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He made it to the Dean’s List every time it was awarded since joining the ADTP in Sunway in Jan 2005.

Chen who hails from Pekan Baru, Indonesia was a Dean’s List honoree too on all the occasions it was offered. She plans to transfer to WMU soon after completing the ADTP at Sunway, to read for a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Hon Shuen ascribes his academic achievements to faculty staff. “I am thankful for the lecturers who took their time to encourage and guide us. They were most helpful and I appreciate their efforts to make our lectures enjoyable” he said.
Chen noted the unique nature of the ADTP in Sunway. “The flexibility of the course and the small student community has created a friendly atmosphere which helped me to grow intellectually and become a more motivated person” said Chen.
