Sunway-TES was incorporated in 1994 as a subsidiary of Sunway College to run internationally renowned professional accounting programmes i.e. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) was founded in 1904 and is now one of the largest professional accountancy body recognised internationally with over 147,000 members and 424,000 students operating in 170 countries. Consequently, graduates of the ACCA, with the relevant approved practical experiences, can act as public accountants, both locally and internationally.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) ACA Qualification

The ICAEW ACA qualification is a globally recognised qualification and was established by Royal Charter in 1818. There are currently 134,000 members based in 165 different countries. The ACA is recognised as one of the most valuable financially-based business qualification there is, and not just the premier professional accounting qualification.

The number of students has increased significantly in Sunway-TES, indicating the quality of education that it provides as well as reflecting the trust and belief of aspiring accountants in the institution.
